Driving and sleeping during your trip
We use the safari jeeps with the famous 4X4 which almost always find their ways on the sometimes muddy and dirt roads.
Being on the road with these kind of cars is already an adventure in it selves.
We have jeeps which have 7 or 8 seats, but during these trips we never take more than 4 photographing or filming people in one car.
We want to offer everyone a window seat to guarantee they have enough space to do their things without disturbing each other.
During our safaris we stay on local public campsites which are chosen for having good access to all part of the parks.
The campsites are often in the middle of the parks or just outside depending where we are.
Simplicity is the main word.
There is water available for some washing and there are (bush)toilets.
Be aware you are in the middle of a national park and the campsites don't have fences, so that's really exciting when you will hear the sounds of the wilderness after sunset.
May be you have heard about the world famous Hugo van Lawick who stayed more that 30 years in a tented camp near Serengeti's Lake Ndutu to make his masterpieces.
Being out in the wild and sleeping in tents, that's the ultimate safari feeling.
We use solid, simple two person tents with field beds and mattresses, so don't worry about sleeping well.
All tentgear and sleeping equipment can you leave at home.
That's luxurious.
May be you prefer to bring your own 'sleeping sheet' for your personal hygiene.
Food and drinks
Most of the times you will stay away for a week or more and we don't meet supermarkets or pubs in the bush.
We bring all needed foods and drinks for all meals every day.
There is plenty of water, coffee and tee and the cooks will surprise you with their meals in the bush.
If you have specific wishes for alcoholic drinks or what else, we will shop for that before we leave and that's on your own account.
